Many of the best models work with your smartphone. Find an application that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate making maps of floors and rooms.
When I tried the S1, it was able to identify our downstairs, which is home to linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, plus medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. robot vacuum hoover was capable of driving close to walls and even across thresholds that are raised without issue. However it was a bit difficult navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and raised itself when it came to carpets or carpets.

The docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated waters prior to each mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 cleaning sessions, but it will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. You'll need to wash out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to prevent them from getting clogged up with dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a great choice to meet your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with a number unique features, including voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. automated vacuum mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it, rather than simply dragging a pad across the surface. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station when needed.
This robot combination is simple to install and use, with a simple interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are also two water tanks which are automatically filled or empty. It also comes with a variety of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that easily removes all kinds of debris, including the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty solid as well, though it can sometimes get caught up on the tiny rug or area mats I have in my home (which is something you can reduce by defining a virtual boundary in the application). Its mopping is quite excellent, too, with a pair of spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub floors, instead of simply dragging the pad over it. The mops can be cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation as required. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-off maintenance making it a top contender on our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush will ensure a thorough, customized clean is achieved.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It is equally effective on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our test's dirtiest areas well, keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other dirt. The sweeping power of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically extends to get into areas that are difficult to reach and mop pads that run across baseboards.
Its navigation is nimble it can navigate narrow spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. It can easily move from one room to another without having to reverse direction it is a useful feature for larger homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than some competitors however, and tends to leave a wide space over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The app features a simple user interface that is designed to be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to plan and manage cleanings, adjust suction power and mopping settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and more. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video monitoring. You will need a stable internet connection to access the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are great at removing dirt and debris, but they're not able to get every speck of dust. That's why it's important to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, and especially to pick up dust in corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mop, is designed to do exactly that. It's simple to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your routine of cleaning.
The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's pricier S-series models, including the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's less expensive because it doesn't have mopping capabilities and has a plastic body.
Although it's no longer able to wipe your floors, the Q5 has some of the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot at this price. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an automatic emptying system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also has a clever app that lets you set your floor type and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic water tank refill and wash system to allow hands-free operation.
Its mops are also awe-inspiring, with 2700Pa of power to take on dirt, dust and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested did not show issues with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it was able to not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising as it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also has a unique mapping system that helps it reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums cannot. The K10 Plus also is able to collect more dust in the bin, which means you don't need to empty it as frequently. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters that further lower the costs associated with using the device. This robot can also detect carpets and boost the suction if required. The app also allows you to mark off areas that you want it to avoid this is a useful feature.
